DALTON, Ga. (AP)— A food service worker has been arrested for performing a sex act
with an inmate at the Whitfield County Jail.

Allison Nicole Stewart, 19, was arrested Friday and charged with sexual assault
against a person in custody and two counts of crossing a guard line with prohibited
items.

Stewart worked with a company that provides meals to jail inmates, according to a warrant.

The warrant said she had oral sex with the inmate in a closet area of a kitchen.

“He was a trusty that helped prepare the food in the kitchen,” sheriff's Capt. Rick Swiney said of the inmate. “He's lost his trusty status and he's been locked back down.”
